Breaded Pork Chops
Ingredients:
pork chops
egg
breadcrumbs
Dip the chops in egg and coat with breadcrumbs, then pan fry.
Comments: These are a staple, extremely tasty and very versatile (serve with sweet potatoes and sauteed spinach, or mash and peas, etc.).

Butternut Squash Soup
Ingredients:
butternut squash (1 large)
carrots
onions
chicken stock
two teaspoons ginger
pinch nutmeg
Chop squash and cook in stock with other ingredients, then blend.
Source: a mishmash of various ideas, mostly from Gareth's head.
Comments: Very simple, maybe try with a little more ginger.
